Benefits of growing (and eating) organic

When my son was 4, he told us that the food we grow on the farm is "food that tastes!"
What we discovered as parents is that we really wanted a more wholesome diet raising kids and growing it or raising it was our best way. Doing it as naturally or organic as possible has had many benefits, including a healthier lifestyle.
My eldest is now 10 and has a very wide range of foods he not only eats but enjoys, including kale, cauliflower and mushrooms~ I'm always reading about parents finding ways to sneak vegetables into their kids meals and when you bring them up eating food that tastes good and makes them feel good there's no need for sneaking!
Many people dont realize that the way food is grown has a lot to do with how "nutrient dense" it is and how nutritious it can be for you when you eat it. I'm not saying that I don't have picky eaters, my youngest would eat cheese at every occasion 😂 but knowing that we choose the healthiest options out there make it easier giving it to him when he asks. The kids and our customers can tell that we raise our animals to have happy lives and a real purpose of caring for our land and eventually our bodies. I hope that you all will enjoy in sharing what we eat, grow and raise here on the farm.
